GWI Steering Committee
The GWI meets on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Victoria Canoe and Kayak Club, 355 Gorge Road West. All GWI meetings are open to the public. How can I get involved?
The GWI committee, consisting of representatives from each partner organization, meets monthly to facilitate program implementation and to share ideas and information about the Gorge Waterway, Portage Inlet and their watersheds.Collectively, the respresentatives act as a community-based, multi-stakeholder body working to address environmental issues in Portage Inlet, the Gorge Waterway and their watersheds.
GWI subcommittees
Within GWI, subcommittees facilitate implementation of the corresponding components of the Gorge Waterway Stewardship Strategy and coordinate project development and funding.
